Bury's most ambitious families choose small group tuition
Bury is one of Greater Manchester's most education-focused boroughs, and the families we work with here have high expectations. Our Gigg Lane centre is centrally located and well connected by bus from Radcliffe, Ramsbottom, Whitefield, Prestwich, and across the wider borough, making it one of the most convenient tuition centres in the area.
We work with students from primary schools throughout the borough (including East Ward Primary, Elton Primary, Chesham Primary and St Mary's CE Primary in Hawkshaw), supporting them at every stage from KS1 through to GCSE.
Preparing for Bury Grammar Schools and other selective entry
Bury Grammar Schools (both the Boys' School and the Girls' School) are two of the North West's most respected independent schools, and competition for places is fierce. Our 11 Plus and selective entry programme is one of the most thorough available locally, covering Maths, English, verbal reasoning, and non-verbal reasoning with regular timed practice papers, individual progress reviews, and a structured build-up across the academic year.
SATs and GCSE preparation that works
Our Year 6 SATs programme gives students the practice and consolidation they need across the key curriculum areas, with particular focus on the written reasoning and arithmetic papers that children find most challenging.
