How our tuition works

1

Free assessment

We find out where your child is now and what they need. Book a free assessment.

2

A plan linked to school

Sessions follow the national curriculum your child is taught in school, so what they practise with us supports what happens in class.

3

Small groups in centre

Children learn in small groups of up to 6 with a tutor (11+ groups are smaller, with 4 children), at a centre near you.

4

Progress you can see

We give you regular updates on your child's progress.

Why small groups?

Evidence that smaller works better

The Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) finds that small group tuition adds, on average, about four months' additional progress over a year, and is "most likely to be effective if it is targeted at pupils' specific needs". The EEF also notes that once groups grow beyond six or seven there is a noticeable drop in effectiveness — which is why we keep groups small.
